Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has announced UNIFYD, a one-day music festival set to take place on March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The event promises a multi-stage musical experience featuring prominent Indian artists and a diverse lineup of performers.
The festival will be headlined by Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam, who is set to make his first festival performance at the event. More than 15 additional artists are also expected to perform across multiple stages, bringing together different musical styles and audiences.
Khan will oversee the festival’s artistic direction, working alongside producers D’YAVOL Live and District, with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism and Miral also involved in the initiative.
Speaking about the vision behind UNIFYD, Khan described it as a spectacle designed to bring people together through the power of music. The concept places music at the centre of a shared experience, bringing artists and audiences together for a large-scale live event.
The festival’s location on Yas Island adds to Abu Dhabi’s growing profile as a destination for major entertainment events. With established performers from across the Indian music industry and a lineup spanning multiple stages, UNIFYD aims to attract music fans from different regions.
Ticket sales will be managed through the District app. Emirates NBD cardholders will have access to an early ticket sale on October 19, 2026, while general ticket sales are scheduled to begin on October 20, 2026.
With Shah Rukh Khan leading its artistic direction and a headline lineup featuring Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam, UNIFYD is shaping up to be a major music event on Abu Dhabi’s 2027 entertainment calendar.
