Goa: The Goa Technology Association (GTA) and the Belagavi Technology Companies Association (BeTCA) have entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening collaboration between the technology and industrial ecosystems of Goa and Belagavi.
The partnership seeks to bring together Goa’s growing IT and software capabilities with Belagavi’s established strengths in engineering, manufacturing and electronics, creating new avenues for business collaboration, technology development and employment.

The collaboration is designed to create stronger links between companies operating across the two regions.
By connecting Goa’s IT enterprises with Belagavi’s manufacturing and electronics ecosystem, the partnership aims to encourage the development of technology-driven industrial solutions and create opportunities for companies to explore joint business initiatives.
The alliance is also expected to facilitate cross-regional business opportunities, allowing enterprises to explore partnerships and potential joint ventures.
Focus on Jobs and Technical Talent
A key focus of the MoU is the creation of new employment opportunities for engineering graduates and technical professionals.
The partnership aims to establish stronger connections between businesses and talent pools in both regions, potentially opening new avenues for professionals with expertise in technology, engineering, electronics and related fields.

GTA Seeks Stronger Regional Technology Connections
The President of the Goa Technology Association said the association intends to build stronger links between Goa and technology ecosystems in other regions.
“We will leave no stone unturned to bridge India’s other regional tech ecosystems with Goa. We have to make this connection to create opportunities for business collaboration and invite companies to invest in Goa.”
The partnership with BeTCA represents an effort to build such regional connections by bringing together complementary strengths from Goa and Belagavi.
