Panaji, September 5, 2026: Goa’s young badminton sensation Amaira Amar Dhumatker continued her remarkable run on the court, clinching a spectacular triple crown at the All Goa State Major Badminton Ranking Tournament held at the Campal Indoor Stadium from August 30 to September 1.
Organised by Sunlite Sports & Cultural Club in association with the Goa Badminton Association (GBA) and Sports Authority of Goa (SAG), the tournament saw Amaira emerge victorious in three events.
The young shuttler secured Gold in the U11 Girls Singles, Gold in the U13 Girls Singles and Gold in the U13 Girls Doubles, underlining her dominance across both age categories.
Amaira is currently Goa’s No. 1 seed in both the U11 and U13 Girls categories, making her one of the most promising young badminton talents in the state.
Her latest achievement adds to an already impressive national record. Amaira is presently ranked No. 2 in India in the U11 Girls Singles category, reflecting her strong performances at the national level.
The young athlete trains at CBE, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, where she continues to sharpen her skills and compete against some of the country’s best emerging badminton players.
Away from the court, Amaira is a student of Bhatikar Model High School, Gogol, Margao, Goa, balancing her academics with an intensive sporting schedule.
Winning three gold medals across two age categories at a major state ranking tournament is a significant achievement for the young shuttler and further establishes her as one of Goa’s rising badminton stars.
With her consistent performances at the state and national levels, Amaira’s latest triple-gold feat marks another important milestone in what promises to be an exciting badminton journey.
