Ahmedabad/Goa: Pramath Parab Matondkar, a talented student of Goa Music College, has brought laurels to Goa by securing the First Prize in the Instrumental – Senior category at the Bharatiya Sangeet Vijayayanti 2026.
The prestigious music competition was organised by the JG College of Performing Arts, with the support of the Saptak School of Music, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from August 21 to 23, 2026.
Pramath participated individually in the Instrumental – Senior category, competing through two rounds of the competition. Following an impressive performance, he advanced to the final round held on August 23.
His remarkable musical presentation earned him the First Prize, along with a trophy and certificate.
The achievement has brought pride and recognition to Goa Music College and Goa at the national level, highlighting the talent and dedication of young musicians from the state.
