Panaji, August 15, 2026: Sagun Velip, Director of the Directorate of Handicrafts, Textile and Coir, was honoured during the Independence Day celebrations held in Panaji on August 15, 2026, in recognition of his contribution towards the “Atmanirbhar Bharat – Swayampurna Goa” initiative.
Velip was recognised as the Swayampurna Mitra of Village Panchayat Caurem-Pirla, Quepem, acknowledging his exemplary work and exceptional contribution towards the successful implementation of the initiative.
