Mumbai, August 16, 2026: Nine-year-old Vanya Girish Satardekar from Goa has brought pride to the state after being honoured at the Indian Walk for Nation 3.0, held in Mumbai on August 16, 2026.
The event featured the Largest Multi-State Patriotic Heritage Walk, bringing together participants in a celebration of patriotism, heritage and national unity.
Vanya participated in the prestigious event and was honoured by World Record of Excellence – England. She was also recognised as the only kid model to be honoured as an awardee at the event, making the achievement a special milestone in her young journey.
Honoured with Kargil Vijay Diwas 2026 Trophy
Vanya received the prestigious Kargil Vijay Diwas 2026 – Indian Walk for Nation 3.0 trophy, along with a Certificate of Participation and recognition from the World Record of Excellence – England.
The honour was presented by Anjali Sakhare, Director, VFI & ASVFI Foundation, and Sanjay Panjwani, Vice President, World Record of Excellence – England.
The young Goan’s participation and recognition at the national-level event highlight the growing presence of young talent from Goa on wider platforms.
At just nine years old, Vanya Satardekar’s achievement serves as an inspiring moment, reflecting confidence, dedication and the ability of young achievers to represent their state on prominent stages.
Her recognition at Indian Walk for Nation 3.0 marks a proud moment for her family and for Goa.
