Actor Ravi Mohan has made a strong statement amid his ongoing divorce proceedings with estranged wife Aarti Ravi, indicating that there is no possibility of reconciliation between them.
Taking to social media on Friendship Day, the actor shared a note thanking his supporters while addressing recent developments surrounding his personal life. In his statement, Ravi said that he and Aarti, along with their two sons Aarav and Ayaan, would never be together in the same room again as long as he is alive.
Sharing the message, Ravi wrote:
“Happy Friendship Day my dearest people. Thank you for standing by me like true friends. It is unfortunate that some people continue to act in ways that amount to contempt of court. As for me, I want to make one thing clear: the four of us will not ever be in the same room together as long as I am alive. Stay happy always and choose your friends wisely.”
Although Ravi did not directly mention anyone, the timing of the post appeared to be linked to recent public comments made by his mother-in-law Sujatha Vijayakumar regarding the ongoing legal proceedings.
Maintenance Claims and Child Access Dispute
Sujatha Vijayakumar had recently addressed reports surrounding the divorce case, including claims related to ₹40 lakh per month interim maintenance.
Rejecting the reports, she clarified that the amount was not a personal maintenance demand but included expenses related to the children, including school fees, tuition and extracurricular activities.
She also responded to Ravi’s claims regarding access to his children, stating that the court had already permitted him to meet them.
“The court has already permitted you to meet your children. At least now you should meet them,” she said.
Ravi Refers to Court Proceedings
In his social media post, Ravi’s reference to “contempt of court” appeared to point towards the ongoing legal proceedings between him and Aarti. The actor suggested that public statements regarding matters before the court were inappropriate.
The divorce dispute between Ravi and Aarti has remained in the public spotlight for nearly two years, with both sides expressing their views through social media and public statements.
Actor Continues Professional Commitments
The latest statement comes shortly after Ravi shared an emotional post about his upcoming directorial debut An Ordinary Man, thanking his family for their support.
He also recently faced speculation regarding his reported relationship with singer and spiritual healer Keneshaa. Following the controversy, Ravi had announced that he would pause new projects until his divorce proceedings were completed and even spoke about stepping away from cinema.
However, support from fans and members of the film industry encouraged him to continue his acting journey.
Ravi Mohan is currently associated with several upcoming projects, including An Ordinary Man, Benz, Karathey Babu, Genie, and Bro Code.
