Panaji, Goa: In a significant step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry, Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College (Autonomous) has entered into a strategic three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fluxatic Global, operating under Menezes Fernandes Technologies (OPC) Pvt. Ltd.
The agreement was formally signed at the Dempo College campus by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj S. Kamat, Principal of Dempo College, and Shawn Kenneth Fernandes, Director of Fluxatic Global.
The collaboration is aimed at equipping students with practical, industry-relevant skills through training programmes, workshops, seminars, exhibitions and collaborative research initiatives. The partnership will focus on emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital transformation, web and mobile application development, and UI/UX design, ensuring students remain prepared for the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
A key highlight of the partnership is the implementation of BridgeAura Integration, a community initiative by Fluxatic Global supported by the IT Department, Government of Goa. Through this platform, Dempo College students will gain access to live industry projects, specialised technology cohorts and mentorship from over 120 industry leaders, enabling them to gain real-world experience alongside their academic learning.
The collaboration also encourages knowledge sharing between academia and industry, helping align academic curricula with current technological advancements while fostering innovation, research and entrepreneurial thinking among students.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj S. Kamat, Principal of Dempo College (Autonomous), said the partnership reflects the institution’s commitment to preparing students for future careers.
