Panaji, Goa: In a proud moment for PM Shri Government High School, Morpirla, Miss Nandini Velip was felicitated for achieving a perfect 100 out of 100 in Social Science in the SSC Examination held in March 2026.
The felicitation ceremony was organised by Rajhauns Vitaran at Gomantak Maratha Samaj Hall, Panaji, where Nandini was honoured alongside the school’s former Headmistress Maria Murena Miranda and Social Science teacher Cassy Carneiro, recognising their invaluable contribution to her academic success.
Despite having no access to private coaching classes, Nandini achieved the remarkable feat through dedication, consistent hard work, and the unwavering support of her school and teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, Nandini attributed her success to PM Shri GHS Morpirla, a school that primarily caters to tribal students who are first-generation learners. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to former Headmistress Maria Murena Miranda, her teachers, and particularly Social Science teacher Cassy Carneiro for their constant guidance, encouragement, and motivation throughout her academic journey.
