Panaji, Goa: The World Trade Center (WTC) Goa strengthened its engagement with Goa’s entrepreneurial community through an interactive session with members of JCOM, the business wing of JCI, and Taleigao Elite Table 1.0 at Hotel Park Prime, Panaji, on 15th July 2026.
The session featured Mr. Cyril Desouza, Regional Director – Trade Promotion, WTC Goa, as the Chief Guest, who shared insights into the extensive opportunities available through the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) global network.
During his presentation, Mr. Desouza explained how businesses in Goa can leverage the WTC ecosystem to expand internationally through global trade, investment opportunities, market access, and strategic business partnerships. He encouraged entrepreneurs to explore international markets by making use of the worldwide WTCA platform.
The programme also included informative presentations on business financial profitability and the ancient Indian science of Vaastu, offering participants practical knowledge to strengthen both business growth and workplace planning.
A key highlight of the event was the announcement of two upcoming international seminars by WTC Goa:
- Dubai: The Business Gateway to Global Trade
- Doing Business with the United Kingdom, focusing on emerging opportunities following the recently signed India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
Both announcements generated significant interest among entrepreneurs and business leaders present at the event.
The programme concluded with WTC Goa and JCOM expressing their commitment to fostering stronger collaboration in the future. JCOM also invited WTC Goa to participate in its upcoming State-level meeting, further strengthening partnerships aimed at creating greater international business opportunities for entrepreneurs in Goa.
The interaction reaffirmed WTC Goa’s commitment to connecting local businesses with global markets while promoting entrepreneurship, trade, investment, and international collaboration.
