Mumbai:
Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has shared a strong message for India’s youth following developments in the Siya Goyal–Ketan Agarwal murder case, encouraging young people to pursue meaningful goals and lead a disciplined life.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kangana reacted to reports surrounding the investigation and reflected on the challenges facing today’s generation.
In her post, she wrote that endless distractions through social media, dating apps, nightlife, drugs and online trends often leave young people feeling directionless.
“Passion without a goal or a purpose will find many such random self-destructive expressions,” she wrote.
Encouraging youngsters to focus on personal growth, Kangana added:
“Channelise your energies into a constructive path, think with an open mind but live a conservative life; that way you can avoid jail, boredom, negativity, depression and many such dooms.”
Investigation Continues
Kangana’s comments come as Pune Rural Police continue investigating the murder of Ketan Agarwal, a 25-year-old realtor who allegedly died after being pushed off a cliff at Lohagad Fort on June 18.
According to investigators, Siya Goyal, who was engaged to Agarwal and scheduled to marry him in November, is suspected of having secretly married Chetan Chaudhary nearly four months earlier. Police are currently verifying whether the alleged marriage was legally registered.
Authorities are also examining mobile phone records, chat messages and digital evidence as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged conspiracy.
Earlier Remarks
Kangana had earlier commented on the case, saying parents alone should not be blamed for the actions of their children. She questioned the growing influence of social media, artificial intelligence and peer groups, suggesting that these factors increasingly shape young minds.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police continue to verify all evidence related to the case.
