Goa’s Homegrown Superapp MajheApp Launches This June with Digital KTC Bus System and Pilot Bike Taxi Service

Goa is set to witness a major transformation in urban mobility with the official launch of MajheApp, the state’s homegrown superapp developed by GraceFulGoa and operated by Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL). Launching in June 2026, the app introduces two groundbreaking services designed to modernize transportation and support local communities.

Goa’s First Fully Digital KTC Bus Ecosystem

For the first time in Goa, commuters will be able to experience a completely digital bus travel system. MajheApp enables users to book KTC bus tickets using QR codes, eliminating the need for cash transactions and physical queues at bus stands.

The comprehensive digital ecosystem offers multiple features designed for commuter convenience:

QR Code Ticketing – Book and pay for bus tickets digitally through the app ✅ Smart Card Recharge – Recharge KTC Smart Transit Cards directly from the app ✅ Real-Time Balance Check – View smart card balance instantly ✅ Live Bus Tracking – Track buses in real time before and after booking ✅ Smart Decision Making – Check bus location before purchasing a ticket to decide whether to wait or seek alternative transport ✅ Accurate Arrival Times – Know exactly when your booked bus will arrive

MajheApp has signed a long-term agreement with KTC to bring this complete digital ecosystem to commuters across Goa, from Pernem in the north to Canacona in the south. The partnership aims to modernize public transportation and make bus travel more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly for residents and tourists alike.

Pilot: Supporting Goan Bike Taxi Operators

The second major service launching on MajheApp is Pilot, a local bike taxi service specifically designed to support Goan pilots who have been facing challenging working conditions.

Currently, local pilots wait for hours at bus stands and taxi points in harsh weather conditions—enduring heat and rain—hoping for passengers. This traditional system has led to a decline in the number of active pilots, as the uncertainty and difficult working conditions discourage many from continuing in the profession.

From June 2026, MajheApp will transform this scenario completely. Every registered pilot in Goa will be onboarded onto the platform and will receive automatic bookings through the app. This system ensures:

🏍️ Guaranteed Income – Pilots receive consistent bookings without waiting 🌤️ Better Working Conditions – No more standing in heat and rain 📱 Digital Integration – Simple app-based system for accepting rides 🎯 Fair Distribution – Automated booking system ensures equitable ride allocation 💼 Professional Support – Pilots become part of an organized digital ecosystem

Empowering Local Communities

The Pilot service represents more than just a bike taxi platform—it’s a commitment to supporting Goa’s local workforce. By providing pilots with a reliable income stream and dignified working conditions, MajheApp aims to revitalize this essential service sector and encourage more Goans to join or remain in the profession.

A Truly Goan Solution

What sets MajheApp apart is its homegrown nature. Developed by GraceFulGoa in partnership with KTCL, the app understands the unique needs of Goan commuters and service providers. Unlike national ride-hailing apps, MajheApp is built specifically for Goa’s geography, culture, and transportation challenges.

The superapp model means users will have access to multiple essential services within a single platform, reducing the need for multiple apps and creating a seamless mobility experience across the state.

Statewide Coverage

MajheApp’s services will be available across the entire state, from the northern tip of Pernem to the southern end of Canacona, ensuring that both urban and rural areas benefit from digital mobility solutions.

Launch Timeline

Both the digital KTC bus ecosystem and the Pilot bike taxi service are scheduled to go live in June 2026. The phased rollout will ensure smooth onboarding of pilots, integration with KTC systems, and user education about the new digital features.

As Goa embraces digital transformation, MajheApp represents a significant step toward smarter, more inclusive, and more efficient urban mobility—built by Goans, for Goans.
