JCI Vasco proudly celebrated its Diamond Jubilee Founders’ Day on June 7, 2026, marking six decades of exceptional service, leadership development, and community impact. The grand celebration took place at The Flora Grand, Vaddem, Vasco-da-Gama, bringing together past presidents, senior members, dignitaries, and young leaders to honor 60 years of excellence.
The landmark event was graced by Chief Guest JC Jojo D’Souza, President of JCI Vasco in 1998, who delivered an inspiring address reflecting on the organization’s remarkable journey and the enduring values that have sustained it through the decades.
Guest of Honour JFD Shaba Gauns, Immediate Past Zone President of JCI India Zone 11, applauded JCI Vasco’s outstanding legacy of leadership development and community service, acknowledging its significant contribution to shaping future leaders.
The celebration was further honored by Special Invitees JFD Chetan Salelkar, Zone Vice President Region B, JCI India Zone 11, and Mr. Sandesh Talekar, HR at TajSATS Dabolim Unit, who shared their appreciation for the chapter’s impactful contributions and encouraged members to continue creating positive change in society.
Adding prestige to the occasion was the presence of JFE Ashok Deshprabhu, Past National President of JCI India, whose words of wisdom inspired members to uphold the organization’s ideals and continue building future leaders.
The program featured recognition of past leaders who laid the foundation for the chapter’s success, celebration of significant milestones, and sharing of cherished memories that have defined JCI Vasco’s journey. A special cake-cutting ceremony symbolized six decades of meaningful impact and community transformation.
Members reflected on the chapter’s rich history and its pivotal role in shaping countless individuals into confident leaders and active citizens who contribute positively to society.
Speaking on the occasion, JC Anjali Loran, President of JCI Vasco, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all past presidents and present members whose dedication and hard work have contributed to the chapter’s remarkable success. She emphasized the importance of preserving the organization’s legacy while embracing innovation and empowering the next generation of leaders to take the mission forward.
Founded in 1966, JCI Vasco has remained one of the most respected local organizations in the region, conducting numerous impactful projects in leadership development, community service, youth empowerment, and social welfare.
