Math Visit Guidelines: Traditional Attire Mandatory for Darshan & Bheti

Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math humbly requests all devotees and visitors to observe the prescribed dress code while visiting the Math premises. The dress code has been established to preserve the spiritual atmosphere, uphold the traditions of the Math, and maintain the dignity and sanctity of this sacred place of worship.

All visitors are required to wear Indian traditional attire as illustrated in the guidelines. Appropriate traditional clothing reflects respect for the religious customs and values associated with the Math and contributes to a serene and devotional environment for all devotees.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive dressed in accordance with these guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free darshan and Bheti of Paramapoojya Swamiji. Adherence to the dress code also helps maintain uniformity and decorum during religious ceremonies, spiritual gatherings, and daily activities within the Math premises.

Important Note for Men:
Men are requested to wear a white traditional dhoti along with a suitable upper cloth. Kavi/Kesari (saffron-coloured) dhotis should be avoided. Visitors are advised to ensure that their attire is modest, respectful, and in keeping with the traditions observed at the Math.

The Math sincerely appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all devotees in helping preserve its rich spiritual heritage and time-honoured customs. By following these guidelines, visitors contribute to maintaining the sacred environment that has been cherished by generations of devotees and spiritual seekers.
