In a significant step towards enhancing educational excellence and industry-oriented learning, Agnel Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEM), Assagao, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Maritime Studies (IMS), Goa.
The partnership is aimed at fostering academic collaboration, research activities, skill development programs, and stronger industry engagement opportunities for students and faculty members of both institutions.
Through this collaboration, AIEM and IMS Goa will work together to create innovative learning experiences, encourage interdisciplinary research, and facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives that align with the evolving demands of global industries.
The MoU is expected to provide students with greater exposure to practical applications, emerging technologies, professional training programs, internships, workshops, seminars, and industry interactions. Such initiatives will help bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world professional requirements.
Speaking on the significance of the collaboration, representatives from both institutions highlighted the importance of industry-academia partnerships in preparing students for future careers in an increasingly competitive and globalized environment.
The alliance also aims to support research-driven innovation and create opportunities for students to gain valuable insights into industry trends and professional practices.
With a shared commitment to educational excellence and holistic student development, AIEM and IMS Goa hope that the collaboration will contribute significantly to developing a skilled and future-ready workforce.
The MoU marks another milestone in strengthening Goa’s educational ecosystem and creating pathways for students to access emerging career opportunities both in India and internationally.
