Actor Avika Gor has revealed that she has relocated to Bangkok with her husband Milind Chandwani following their marriage, while assuring fans that the move will not affect her acting career in India.
Speaking in a recent interview, Avika shared that the decision to move abroad was largely influenced by better professional opportunities for Milind. The actor added that the transition felt exciting and refreshing for her as well, especially after the couple purchased and began setting up their new home in Bangkok together.
Avika and Milind were in a relationship for nearly seven years before tying the knot last year. Reflecting on their relationship, the actor said they have always supported each other’s personal and professional growth.
She explained that just as Milind stood by her during long outdoor shooting schedules and demanding work commitments, she felt it was equally important to support his ambitions and career opportunities overseas.
Addressing concerns about whether the move would distance her from the Indian entertainment industry, Avika clarified that her work commitments remain her top priority. She pointed out that even while based in Mumbai, she frequently travelled across cities like Hyderabad, Rajahmundry and Visakhapatnam for projects, making her realise that Mumbai did not necessarily have to remain her permanent base.
The actor also shared that she continues to travel to India regularly for shoots and meetings, adding that her roots and family remain firmly connected to India. She dismissed speculation that relocating internationally would reduce her work opportunities, saying that genuine collaborations always find a way when both sides are willing to make the effort.
Avika further mentioned that industry colleagues and collaborators have been supportive of her decision to relocate.
On the professional front, Avika is preparing for her next major television appearance in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15, for which she is expected to begin shooting soon.
