Comedian-actor Munawar Faruqui and his wife Mehzabeen Faruqui have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, marking a joyful new chapter in their lives. Munawar shared the news on Friday through social media, posting pictures of the mother and daughter while choosing to keep their faces private.
Announcing the arrival of his daughter, Munawar wrote, “Ghar barkat aayi. Blessed. Alhmdulillah. Dua mai khas yaad rakhe (sic)!” The message reflected gratitude and happiness, as fans and well-wishers flooded the comments with congratulatory messages.
Several personalities from the entertainment industry extended their wishes to the couple, including Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Aly Goni.
Munawar married make-up artist Mehzabeen Coatwala in May 2024 in a private ceremony that was kept away from the public eye. The wedding came to light later after details surfaced online, with Hina Khan reportedly attending the celebration.
The comedian has largely maintained a low profile regarding his personal life. He was previously married and has a son from his former relationship, whom he continues to co-parent. Mehzabeen, too, is said to have a daughter from her earlier relationship.
With the arrival of their baby girl, the couple now begins a new journey together as parents, receiving love and blessings from fans across the country.
