In the video, Ankita is seen affectionately playing with her puppy while Sushant looks on, capturing a candid and warm moment from their time together. Sharing the clip, she wrote, “Scotch: Ek pyaari yaad. Scotchi Bhaiya I miss you,” expressing her nostalgia and emotional connection to the pet.
The video also includes a light-hearted moment where Ankita jokes about bringing someone special who had taken the place of Manav — the iconic character played by Sushant in the show.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande first met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta, where their on-screen chemistry as Manav and Archana became immensely popular. Their relationship soon blossomed off-screen, and the couple dated for nearly seven years.
Their love story was widely followed by fans, with Sushant even proposing to Ankita on national television during Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 4. However, the couple eventually parted ways in 2016.
Scotch, their pet dog, was known to be close to both actors, making the throwback clip even more emotional for fans who remember their journey together.
