Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is celebrating a major personal milestone as he marks 38 years of marriage with wife Suchitra.
The actor shared a heartfelt post on Instagram on April 28, featuring a romantic picture of the couple posing near the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in New York Harbour.
Along with the picture, Mohanlal penned a sweet message that quickly caught fans’ attention online. He wrote, “38 years later and somehow, it still feels like the beginning.”
The emotional post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and members of the film industry, with many praising the couple for their enduring bond.
Mohanlal and Suchitra got married in 1988. Suchitra is the daughter of late Tamil film producer K. Balaji. The couple shares two children — Pranav Mohanlal and Vismaya Mohanlal.
Their son Pranav entered the film industry as a child actor with Onnaman and later built his own acting career.
Recently, Mohanlal also grabbed headlines after an unexpected meeting with music duo The Chainsmokers in Dallas, which sparked excitement online.
On the professional front, Mohanlal is gearing up for the release of Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film also stars Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil.
