Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince William are celebrating a major relationship milestone as the royal couple marked 15 years of marriage on April 29.
To commemorate the special occasion, the couple shared a heartwarming family photo featuring their three children — Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales.
The photo showed the family relaxing together on the grass, dressed in casual summer outfits while sharing affectionate moments. The caption simply read: “Celebrating 15 years of marriage ❤️.”
The anniversary comes just days after Prince William visited Wales — a location that holds sentimental value for the couple. Before and after their 2011 wedding, William and Kate lived in a rented home in Anglesey for three years.
Last year, the pair celebrated their anniversary in another meaningful destination — Scotland — where they first met while studying at University of St Andrews.
The royal couple tied the knot on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey in a globally watched wedding ceremony.
During their 2010 engagement interview, Prince William reflected on their early connection and said, “When I first met Kate, I knew there was something very special about her.”
Their anniversary celebrations also come shortly after their youngest son, Prince Louis of Wales, turned eight on April 23. As per royal tradition, the family shared a new portrait and video of Louis from their recent vacation in Cornwall.
