Rohan Khaunte Attends Baisakhi Celebrations at Betim Gurudwara

Panaji: Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte attended the auspicious Baisakhi celebrations at Shree Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara, joining the Sikh community in commemorating the birth of the Khalsa Panth.

Addressing the gathering, Khaunte expressed his honour in being part of the celebrations and reflected on the enduring values that Baisakhi represents. He highlighted the importance of humility, unity, and selfless serviceโ€”principles deeply rooted in the teachings of the Khalsa tradition.

The event witnessed vibrant participation from members of the community, who came together to celebrate the festival with devotion and cultural fervour. Baisakhi, one of the most significant festivals in Sikhism, marks both the harvest season and the historic formation of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Khaunteโ€™s presence at the celebration underscored Goaโ€™s spirit of inclusivity and cultural harmony, where diverse communities come together to celebrate each otherโ€™s traditions. He also extended his wishes to the Sikh community, appreciating their contributions to society and their commitment to service.

The celebrations at Betim reflected the essence of Baisakhi, bringing together faith, culture, and community bonding in a meaningful way.
