DBO Panjim & Sonics Crowned Champions at Third Sonics All-Goa U17 Basketball League
Don Bosco Oratory Panjim and Sonics emerged as Boys’ and Girls’ Champions respectively at the Third Sonics All-Goa Under-17 Basketball League, held at Youth Hostel, Miramar. DBO Panjim triumphed 50–42 over Don Bosco Fatorda, while Sonics clinched the girls’ title 28–18, showcasing the growing strength of youth basketball in Goa.

Goa Gears Up for the 24th Shenoi Goembab Storytelling Competition – 2nd August 2025
Konkani Bhasha Mandal (KBM), Goa, will organize the 24th edition of the annual Shenoi Goembab Storytelling Competition on 2nd August 2025. Supported by the Directorate of Official Language, Government of Goa, and refreshment partner Monginis, this prestigious competition will be conducted across 19 centers statewide. With participation from hundreds of students and the support of over 160 judges and 300 volunteers, the event promotes creativity, confidence, and Konkani language skills among students from Classes 1 to 10.
Anger Management Workshop held for kids in Margao
At a special workshop in Margao, children aged 7 to 14 learned practical ways to manage anger, anxiety, and arrogance. Organised by Anisha Kapdi with support from the Chirag Datta Naik Initiative, the event focused on emotional awareness and healthy expression.
