Goa’s Aarush Pawaskar secured a thrilling 21-14, 9-21, 21-19 victory in the Boys Singles U17 Round of 64 at the Yonex-Sunrise All India Sub Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025, emerging as the lone Goan winner on a challenging opening day in Mapusa.
Goa’s youngest badminton sensation, 8-year-old Amaira Dhumatker, will compete in the Girls’ Singles and Doubles categories at the Yonex-Sunrise All India Sub Junior (U-13) Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025. The event will be held in Navelim, Goa, from June 23–28, where Amaira is set to showcase her incredible talent on the national stage.
