In a landmark moment for Goa’s business community, Ms. Pratima Gaurish Dhond has been elected as the first-ever woman President of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry in its 117-year history. She will officially take charge on July 1, 2025, succeeding Mr. Shrinivas Dempo.
The 6th Edition of The Business Diva competition, organized by the Women’s Wing of GCCI, celebrated women entrepreneurs across Goa. The event spanned over 3 months and culminated in an inspiring finale on 27th May 2025. With 100+ nominations received, the competition had three categories: Startup, Scaleup, and Rural Woman Enterprise. The event showcased outstanding entrepreneurs and was attended by industry experts, including Padma Shri Smt. Shashi Soni. The winners were awarded recognition for their innovation and hard work in a day full of inspiration and mentorship.
