Starting August 2025, all post office counters across India will begin accepting UPI payments, making transactions faster, more convenient, and fully digital. This move aligns with the government’s mission to promote digital inclusion in every corner of the country.
India and Cyprus have signed an MoU to introduce UPI-based digital payments in Cyprus, enabling real-time, secure, and low-cost transactions for individuals and businesses, and strengthening bilateral fintech cooperation.
Starting June 16, UPI transactions in India will be noticeably faster as NPCI rolls out new response time limits. With key changes like reduced transaction delays and increased balance check attempts, digital payments are set to become smoother and more efficient for millions of users.
