In the interest of public safety, the District Magistrate of North Goa has issued a prohibition order banning swimming, bathing, or entering waterfalls, rivers, lakes, ponds, abandoned quarries, and similar natural water bodies within the district. The directive is effective immediately and aims to prevent accidents and drowning incidents, especially during the monsoon season.
