Todu and Paranjpe March into Men’s Doubles Quarterfinals at Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026

Panaji, January 2026 – Sonu Todu and Atharv Paranjpe advanced to the quarterfinals of the men’s doubles event at the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026 with a dominant 6–1 victory over Nishad Shevde and Siddarth Nunes in the Round-of-16. The match was played at the courts of Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, one of the two main venues hosting the tournament alongside Panjim Gymkhana.

The men’s singles category witnessed several closely contested encounters. Ashwin Narsinghani edged past Vishwambhar 6–4, while Parth Deorukhakar registered a convincing 6–1 win over Sreyas Prasad. Nishad Shevde defeated Arnav Harishankar 6–4. At the Gymkhana courts, Praneeth V blanked Subhash Nayar 6–0, and Ryan Sodhi overcame Kshitij Gupta 6–3.

Doubles action across various rounds saw Maaz Khan and Arnav Bansode beat Raviteja Damera and Ashwath Tiwari 6–2. Ashwin Narsinghani paired with Prathmesh Patil to defeat Dhruv Rao and Subham 6–3. Parth Deorukhakar and Arnav Bansode continued their strong run, registering wins over Rehaan Diaz/Prajat Halankara (6–2) and Eshaan Khadeer/Adam Basha (6–4). Other notable results included victories by Avish Verma/Joshua Cardozo, Dhruv Rao/Subham, Maaz Khan/Arnav Harishankar, and Raviteja Damera/Ashwath Tiwari.

In additional men’s singles matches, Parth Deorukhakar defeated Avish Verma 6–2, while Paul Singh secured a 6–0 win over Ashwath D.

The women’s singles draw also saw intense competition, with Nidhi, Tomoyo Fujita, Janavi, Riya, Trisha, Unnathi, Atika and Renee registering wins in their respective matches.

Jointly organised by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and the Gadre Group in association with the Goa State Tennis Association (GSTA), the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026 has attracted a record 555 entries across the Masters and Open categories, making it one of the largest tennis tournaments held in the state.

Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026: Open Category Matches Begin as Mandar Clinches Double in Masters Segment

Panaji, January 26, 2026: The much-anticipated Open category matches of the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026 commenced on Republic Day at the Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and Panjim Gymkhana courts, marking Day Five of the tournament. Players across the men’s singles draw began their campaigns in the prestigious 11th edition of the event.


Earlier in the tournament’s Masters categories, Mandar achieved a remarkable double by winning both the 45+ men’s singles and 90+ men’s doubles titles.

Open Men’s Singles Results – Gaspar Dias Courts:

Ojus defeated Shivam 6-3

Priyank overcame Debayan 6-3

Raoul beat Kedar 6-2

Avish defeated Omkar Islampure 6-4

Dnyaneshwar triumphed over Tanay 6-4

Stage Set for the Tenth Edition of Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2025; Tourney Logs Record 533 Entries 


~ The 10th edition of Goa’s premier tennis event sees a significant rise in participation, showcasing talent from seasoned professionals to promising juniors across multiple categories.

Panaji, Jan 2025 – The tenth edition of the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2025, a premier tennis tournament, is set to kick off at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias in Miramar on January 23. With a record breaking 533 entries received, the event promises a thrilling display of talent from a diverse range of participants, including veterans, seasoned professionals and promising juniors.

Organised jointly by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Goa’s first tennis club and the Gadre Group, in collaboration with the Goa State Tennis Association (GSTA), the tournament has garnered tremendous interest this year in the tennis fraternity.

In the tournament’s Masters segment, the 45+ category has received the highest number of entries, 61, followed by 55 entries in the Masters doubles 90+ and 40 in the Masters doubles 110+ category. Other entries include 30 in the Masters doubles 120+, 32 in the Masters singles 60+ and 30 in the Masters singles 55+ category. The 35+ mixed doubles, the only mixed category in the Masters segment, has recorded 11 entries. 

The Open category also boasts significant participation, led by 118 entries in the men’s singles and 43 teams in the men’s doubles. The ladies’ singles category has drawn 28 entries, while the Open mixed doubles segment has 23 teams. In the junior divisions, the boys under-16 category has 26 entries, the girls under-16 category has 15 entries, the boys under-12 category has 13 entries, while eight players have registered to participate in the girls under-12 category.

“The Gadre Gaspar Dias Open continues to grow each year and the remarkable participation this time is a testament to its increasing popularity. The event not only highlights the competitive nature of tennis in Goa but also nurtures young talent, setting new standards for future tournaments,” said Sameer Kakodkar, President of the GSTA.

The tournament will begin with the Masters category matches commencing from January 23 to 26, followed by the highly anticipated Open category matches from January 27 to February 2.
