The Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) organized a seminar on GST 2.0 reforms at the Surendrababu Timblo Convention Hall, Panaji, on 8th September 2025. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant graced the occasion as Chief Guest and lauded the transformative reforms introduced at the GST Council meeting held on 3rd September.
Starting July 1, 2025, obtaining a new PAN card will require mandatory Aadhaar authentication. This measure aims to streamline the process, enhance security, and reduce fraud by linking Aadhaar with PAN. The step is part of India’s broader push for Digital India, improving the efficiency of financial transactions and ensuring a secure and integrated identity system.
