The Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) has appealed to the CBDT to implement a faceless, fully online registration system for Charitable Trusts under Sections 12AB and 80G. The move aims to ease compliance for Goa-based trusts currently burdened by in-person hearings in Bengaluru.
Starting July 1, 2025, obtaining a new PAN card will require mandatory Aadhaar authentication. This measure aims to streamline the process, enhance security, and reduce fraud by linking Aadhaar with PAN. The step is part of India’s broader push for Digital India, improving the efficiency of financial transactions and ensuring a secure and integrated identity system.
