A Walk By the Patto Pedestrian Bridge
Hello Allys,
Hope February is treating you well! This Friday, I bring before you a place that you must have visited several times but I doubt took time off to notice the beauty that this place holds.
Just as randomly as anyone visiting this place from dawn to dusk – this place is the most visited pathway as it connects the Central Library, Panjim Bus Stand to the Panjim City. This bridge is built on the Rua dear Ourem Creek, one of the oldest creeks that runs down from Altinho Hill.
This Bridge is considered one of thetmost busiest avenues right from the sunrise to the sunset. As it is so rightly said that, if one wants to explore Panjim must either walk or go cycling to experience this beautiful place.
This is one of the pictures that I clicked just after the Sunset and the Sky and this beautiful composition gave me a picture perfect.
TIPS OF THE DAY
- If you want to get a picture perfect make sure you visit this place during the golden hour – just before sunrise or just after the sunset. You get some really beautiful hues that allows you to get a picture perfect!
- If you have ample time, try to be sit back in the places on the either side of the bridge and relax yourself. You will get to see several things worth observing right from people fishing to rowing boats to business class rushing to work with a sandwich or coffee in their hands.

It is Friday! Weekend is here which means that holiday is just around the corner. How was your week? Did this week treat you well? Or It was a kind of week where you were pushing yourself to somehow reach Sunday? Well, if it does, let me tell you it is absolutely okay! Sometimes, there are days when you feel like that (And hey! it’s okay to have one, even I too have bad days!) Remind yourself that this is just a phrase, better days are coming! On such days, you know what I do? If I am at home, I take the bike and go riding aimlessly exploring new roads while when I am at work, I head towards my office terrace or for that matter I quickly walk around my office to explore a new place near by or simply just explore a coffee shop in my area. And Trust me, it makes me feel tons and tons of times better.
On one such day, I explored this Rainbow Square, a lil near my work place. It isn’t named as the Rainbow Square but I found it to be like one! So I call it that. Initially, I thought it was just another wall painted but as I explored this place I realized that it is somewhat like a square which starts from the Altinho Road and goes down towards the Boca De Vaca Spring Tunnel. (The story of this spring is coming up soon in my next post)
Just take the road heading towards Altinho, right ahead of the Consulate General of Portugal in Goa,
TIPS OF THE DAY
- Best time to visit this place is before 12pm or after 4pm.
- While you click pictures be careful of the vehicles in the area, this road is usually free, and so here, people usually tend to speed up.
- My friend told me in order to get a picture perfect, wear Black and Visit this place to click a picture. The Result is below!
