Indian Astronaut and Test Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla received a grand welcome in his hometown of Lucknow after successfully completing the historic Axiom-4 mission. The mission, conducted in collaboration with Axiom Space, NASA, and SpaceX, made history as the first government-sponsored human spaceflight in over four decades for India, Poland, and Hungary. Shukla, along with Commander Peggy Whitson (USA), and Mission Specialists Sławosz Uznanski (Poland) and Tibor Kapu (Hungary), spent 18 days aboard the ISS conducting over 60 critical scientific experiments.
