PANAJI, GOA | August 15, 2025 — This Independence Day, the sands of Benaulim Beach will echo not just with the sound of waves, but with martial music and patriotic tunes, as the Southern Command of the Indian Army presents a grand military band performance on August 15 at 6:30 PM.
Organised by the Ministry of Defence in association with the Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and the National Cadet Corps (NCC), this special event commemorates India’s 79 years of freedom through music, heritage, and public participation.

At the heart of this musical tribute is the No. 2 Pipes & Drums Band of HQ 2 Signal Training Centre. Known for their impeccable discipline and stirring performances, the band will perform:
