As India strides towards its $7 trillion economic vision by 2030, Vedanta Sesa Goa is playing a transformative role in youth empowerment. Through a range of initiatives spanning technical, digital, sports, and entrepreneurial training, over 1 lakh young individuals have been upskilled since 2018 — setting the foundation for an inclusive and empowered #ViksitBharat.
As part of its ongoing #IronWill4GreenerPlanet initiative, Vedanta Sesa Goa organized an educational visit to the Sanquelim Reclaimed Mines (SRM) for National Service Scheme (NSS) students from Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce (GCASC), Khandola, and employees. The visit showcased the remarkable transformation of a former mining site into a sustainable, green ecosystem. The students were introduced to environmental practices like eco-friendly construction, sustainable fish farming, and the importance of biodiversity restoration. The initiative also encouraged students to become #SesaGreenWarriors, helping spread awareness about eco-conscious behaviors.
