Goa today witnessed a spell of unexpected rain late in the evening. The rains began pouring in right after the sunset. Several people going home unexpectedly got a shower just when no one expected it.

This morning the weather looked a little dull. Clouds covered the sky and everyone felt that it would definitely pour in but not now maybe later in the evening. Amidst this many people thought it wouldn’t rain and everyone would reach home without getting wet in the rain and hey! I was one among them.

Just when you feel it wouldn’t rain , it poured in and unexpectedly several experienced the shower. The very fact that it was unexpected made me think just like that universe has a plan and it unfolds ahead of you in the most unexpected way. Things, situations, people come in your life to add just what your life requires. And in due course of time you realise that it is these things that matter the most. Unexpected things happen in life but it is up to you how to stay true to what you feel. Cherish the presence and during the absence learn to realise the worth. Everything and every moment is special. Perspective matters the most.

I was talking to a friend as the unexpected rain poured in, one said it maybe someone crying from above in the form of rain while another one said maybe it’s some showers of blessing. And that made me think, every body and every thing has a different perspective. The approach to things makes the difference. Stay happy and be grateful and that will surely reciprocates in some way or the other.

Success is Never Given, it is Earned

Good Morning Guys!

Today is yet another Wisdom Wednesday, where we are up with another post to kick start your day with the right set of energy. We come across situations and circumstances that keeps us worried about whether or not we will succeed in life. Often there are also instances when we feel the other person was gifted the success but we all need to remember success is never gifted but it is earned. Earned with pure hard work. My Class Teacher in Tenth Standard use to say – 99% hard work + 1 % Luck = 100% Success. No matter how old you get this formula will always work.

Happy a fantastic week ahead.

Hello June – New Month, New You

Hey Guys!

We have almost reached half way through 2020 and all I can say – What a year it has been so far. Within just 06 months we came across situations and circumstances that questioned us about several things. Right from things that we took for granted to the fact that we have reached a stage where in order to be safe and to safeguard others we had to be at home.

Things that we so took for granted like may be going out for buying groceries, breathing without a mask, going out of the house freedom. Today we all are highly aware of how privileged we are to enjoy all these little things of life. Breathing fresh air, going out of the house without mask, stocking of groceries.

As we begin this new month today of June – I felt we should take a moment to make note of the things that we are grateful about – Be it a roof over our head, Be it a Safe Place to Live in, Having atleast essentials at home, Having Internet that helps us connect to our near and dear ones, in this difficult moment being safe, having our loved ones by our side and seeing them safe.

I know we haven’t reach the end, the Covid 19 pandemic is still on and we all have to live with it. But this is by itself a huge lesson, this whole process or experience taught us – to have greater appreciation for the small things in life, because the small things are really the big things. Will always look back to this phrase with gratitude. #GraciaGod🌼

Have an amazing rest of 2020. Remember it is still not over, let’s make the most of the rest of 2020. Still have high hopes that #2020ismine🦋

Documenting this Journey of #Life – 5 Years at an Organisation, I thought I would Never Join!

Hey Guys!!!

Hope you all are doing fine! I’m back again this Sunday with a purpose to share an insight of my life.

What can happen in 5 Years?

Someone can Graduate, a child learns to be self sustained. Well a lot can happen in 5 Years.  One such instance is here…

Yes, it all began 5 years ago in 2015. I graduated from St. Xavier’s Mapusa – Goa headed towards a new journey, not knowing what I will be doing nor understanding how challenging the life circumstances would be. But I knew what ever I will be doing, I would be the best version of myself.

Rewind to 5 Years Back

It was in April 2015 when we had a lot of companies visiting our college for campus interviews and we were desperately in search of job not because we didn’t have money but because I have been working all my life, either for a non paid internship during my college breaks or freelancing for a magazine. (For which, my first article payment was Rs. 200 ) My first memory of this was special as I was hardly in second year but looking at my hard work, I was offered a full time job which I somehow wasn’t keen on. Nevertheless, we had a lot of companies visiting us for job hiring.

One such company was a New Local Cable Television Channel, who was hiring staff. I had my interview and I thought I did great because I had already worked previously in one of the local television channels as an intern so I was like I will nail this interview. But I was asked one the most basic question during the interview which I rightly answered and spoke just the normal way as I usually would. And I was told we will call you once your exams are done (Our Final Year Practical Exams were pending and were suppose to end by April End) I still remember that day, I came out after the interview and met my HOD who was waiting outside like an anxious parent – who would wait to hear how their child did during exam.  So I told her directly, this person asked me a basic question, And I was like – I will never work in this place.

2 x Fast Forward

Exams were over and we were on a break! Well after that interview, I did attend a couple of interviews in different places too as I was very firm that I will not be working there. And what was amazing was, I got selected in all the other places but somehow I wasn’t so keen on taking up the job, something kept me waiting, like something within me.
