Goa’s rising table tennis talent will light up the Indoor Stadium, Campal, on December 14 as 28 teams from 16 schools battle at the Vishnu Sinai Dempo Memorial All Goa Inter School Invitational Tournament, featuring top young stars including Chandan Caro, Ishita Colaso, Vedant Wagle and more.
The Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Goa has announced selection trials for the Under-19 Boys Table Tennis team to represent the state at the upcoming 69th National School Games. The trials will be held on November 12, 2025, at the Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji.
On August 15, 2025, young archers from Sunshine Worldwide School, Old Goa, showcased their skill and discipline at the Archery Competition hosted by Zito Archery Club at Fr. Agnel Central School, Pilar. Under coach Leonor Godinho’s guidance, standout performer Abigail Vanderpett impressed with her technique and composure, earning well-deserved recognition.
Pravara Bakhale and Saideep Naik emerged as top performers at the 3rd Annual Swatantryasenani Jairam Vasudev Borkar All Borim High School Badminton Tournament held from Sept 12–14, hosted by Borim Development Trust and Swami Vivekanand Vidyaprasarak Mandal.
Pope John XXIII High School, Quepem emerged victorious in the U14 Sepaktakraw Quepem Taluka Championship, defeating Don Bosco Sulcorna 2–0 in straight sets (15–7, 15–8). The tournament was organized by DSYA, Campal–Panjim.
