Mira Kapoor’s Romantic Birthday Wish for Shahid Kapoor Wins Hearts

Love stories in Bollywood often play out on-screen, but sometimes, the most genuine moments unfold away from the camera. That’s exactly what fans witnessed when Mira Rajput Kapoor shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her husband, Shahid Kapoor, on February 25.

Taking to social media, Mira posted a series of intimate and romantic pictures, accompanied by a simple yet deeply personal message: “Simply the best… Happy Birthday love of my life.” The post quickly resonated with fans, offering a glimpse into the couple’s bond that has remained strong over the years.

The images captured a serene beachside setting, where the couple appeared relaxed and completely at ease in each other’s company. In one frame, Shahid, dressed casually in a black T-shirt and sunglasses, wraps his arms around Mira as they gaze out at the sea, soaking in the calm of the moment. Another candid shot shows them laughing freely, with Mira leaning back into his embrace.

Perhaps the most touching image in the series is one where Mira plants a gentle kiss on Shahid’s forehead, while he smiles warmly at the camera. The final photograph adds a playful touch, with Shahid lifting Mira as she hugs him tightly—an effortless display of affection and comfort.

Their story dates back to July 7, 2015, when they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Delhi. Unlike many celebrity relationships, theirs was an arranged match, brought together through family connections and spiritual guidance. Over the years, their relationship has evolved into one of Bollywood’s most admired partnerships.

Today, more than a decade into their marriage, the couple are proud parents to two children—daughter Misha, born in 2016, and son Zain, born in 2018. While Shahid continues to shine in the film industry, Mira has carved her own identity as an entrepreneur, building a strong presence in the wellness and lifestyle space.

On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor remains as busy as ever. After his recent appearance in O Romeo, he has an exciting lineup ahead with Cocktail 2 and Farzi 2, keeping fans eagerly anticipating his next performances.

Born into a family deeply rooted in cinema, Shahid is the son of veteran actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem, and shares a close bond with his half-brother, actor Ishaan Khatter.

Yet, beyond the film sets and public appearances, it is moments like these—quiet, affectionate, and deeply personal—that truly define his life. Mira’s birthday post serves as a reminder that even in the spotlight, love can remain simple, grounded, and beautifully real.

Valentine’s Day 2026: More Than Roses, It’s About Real Love

Valentine’s Day arrives each year wrapped in red roses, heart-shaped chocolates and candlelit dinner reservations. But beyond the commercial gloss lies something far more meaningful — the human need for connection.

February 14 has evolved over centuries, from a feast day honouring Saint Valentine to a global celebration of romance. Today, it transcends borders, cultures and traditions. In cities, couples queue outside restaurants for the perfect dinner date. In quieter homes, handwritten letters are slipped across tables. In friend groups, “Galentine’s” brunches celebrate sisterhood. And for many, it becomes a day of intentional self-care.

But what truly makes Valentine’s Day special?

It’s the pause. The deliberate choice to express what we often assume is understood. A simple “I appreciate you.” A message you’ve been meaning to send. A bouquet that says what words sometimes cannot.

Interestingly, the meaning of love itself has expanded. Younger generations are redefining the day — focusing not just on romantic partners but on friendships, family bonds and self-worth. Social media feeds fill with proposals and curated surprises, but the most powerful moments are often the quiet ones: cooking together at home, revisiting a shared memory, or forgiving an old misunderstanding.

There’s also a growing emphasis on self-love. In a world that constantly demands productivity and perfection, Valentine’s Day can become a reminder to treat yourself with the same kindness you offer others. That might mean buying your own flowers, taking a solo trip, or simply unplugging for an evening.

And perhaps that’s the most important shift. Love is no longer confined to grand gestures. It lives in effort, presence and intention.

So this year, ask yourself:
Who deserves to hear “I love you” from you?
Have you said it to yourself lately?

Valentine’s Day 2026 is not just about roses. It’s about reflection. It’s about gratitude. It’s about choosing connection in a world that often feels disconnected.

However you celebrate — extravagantly or simply — let it be real. Let it be meaningful. And most importantly, let it be yours.

Valentine Week 2026: Seven Days of Love, One Beautiful Celebration

Valentine Week 2026 is a seven-day celebration of love, emotion, and connection that leads up to Valentine’s Day on February 14. Observed every year from February 7 to February 14, this week offers people the opportunity to express affection not just through grand gestures, but through simple, meaningful acts that strengthen bonds and bring hearts closer.

The week begins on Rose Day, February 7, 2026, a day that symbolises admiration and affection. Roses, in their many colours, convey different emotions — red for love, yellow for friendship, white for peace, and pink for gratitude. It marks the gentle beginning of a week filled with emotion.

This is followed by Propose Day on February 8, 2026, when feelings find their voice. It’s a day when people choose to express their love openly — whether it’s a new confession, a renewed commitment, or a reminder of affection that already exists.

Chocolate Day, celebrated on February 9, 2026, adds sweetness to the week. Chocolates become symbols of care and comfort, reminding us that love often lies in small, thoughtful gestures that bring joy and warmth.

The emotional depth of the week grows with Promise Day on February 10, 2026. This day is about trust and assurance — making promises that reflect loyalty, understanding, and the desire to stand by one another through all phases of life.

On Hug Day, February 11, 2026, love finds expression through warmth and closeness. A hug becomes a silent reassurance, capable of conveying care, comfort, and emotional security without words.

The intimacy of the week continues with Kiss Day on February 12, 2026, a moment that symbolises affection, closeness, and emotional bonding. It’s a reminder of the trust and connection shared between two people.

Finally, the celebration culminates with Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2026, the most recognised day of love. While traditionally associated with romantic partners, Valentine’s Day today embraces love in all its forms — romantic, familial, platonic, and even self-love.

Valentine Week 2026 isn’t about perfection or extravagance; it’s about intention, emotion, and presence. Whether celebrated with a partner, friends, family, or alone, the week encourages everyone to pause, reflect, and express love in ways that feel genuine and meaningful. In a fast-paced world, these seven days serve as a gentle reminder that love, when expressed sincerely, has the power to connect, heal, and uplift.

Legendary Acquires Movie Rights to SenLinYu’s Alchemised in Record-Breaking Seven-Figure Deal

In one of the biggest rights deals for a debut novel in recent memory, Legendary has acquired the film rights to Alchemised, the forthcoming dark romantasy novel by author SenLinYu, in a deal that insiders say exceeded $3 million. The preemptive acquisition was designed to suppress competition, sparking a whirlwind of industry interest and negotiations.

SenLinYu, who uses they/them pronouns, is a familiar name in the world of online fanfiction. They rose to fame in the Dramione fandom — centered on the imagined romance between Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger — particularly for their dystopian fantasy Manacled, which amassed over 10 million reads on Archive of Our Own (AO3) and earned over 100,000 five-star ratings on Goodreads. Their broader body of fan work, including Star Wars fics, has drawn more than 20 million downloads globally and has been translated into 23 languages.

Now stepping into the world of traditional publishing, SenLinYu is set to release Alchemised through Penguin Random House imprint Del Rey on September 23, with an ambitious first printing of 750,000 copies and translation rights already sold in 21 languages.

The story, which originally began as a Dramione concept before being transformed into an original dark fantasy, follows Helena Marino — a gifted healer with forgotten memories — who is sent to a crumbling estate ruled by a necromancer assigned to uncover the secrets hidden in her mind. As the official blurb teases, “Helena’s fight — to protect her lost history and to preserve the last remaining shreds of her former self — is just beginning. For her prison and captor have secrets of their own … secrets Helena must unearth, whatever the cost.”

The acquisition is timely for Legendary, which is riding high off its output deal with Paramount and the box office success of Minecraft: The Movie. While the studio declined to comment on financial details, sources confirm the deal was an outright purchase that could rank among the highest film rights sales for a single book, not adjusted for inflation.

SenLinYu is represented by WME and attorney Matthew Sugarman at Weintraub Tobin. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the author said, “I’m honored by Legendary’s incredible enthusiasm for the project and can’t wait to see the world of Paladia come to life.”

With echoes of previous publishing-to-film success stories like Fifty Shades of Grey — which famously began as Twilight fanfiction — Alchemised appears poised to be the next phenomenon bridging fandom roots with blockbuster aspirations.
