To curb rising road accidents, Goa will soon see the implementation of AI-based traffic signals across 91 key junctions. Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho announced the initiative, along with a new state-wide road signage system, as part of a larger strategy to boost road safety. A 14% drop in accidents this quarter shows progress, but authorities stress that responsible driving is equally crucial.
