The Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, will soon premiere ‘Ulgulan’, a one-hour film celebrating the life and legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Produced to mark the conclusion of his 150th birth anniversary celebrations, the film honors the young tribal freedom fighter whose rallying cry for “Jal, Jangal, aur Zameen” continues to inspire generations.
Art and Culture Minister Shri Ramesh Tawadkar released “Perni Zagor”, a book authored by Dr. Pandurang Phaldesai, at a function organized by the Department of Art and Culture in Panaji. The Minister also felicitated Dr. Phaldesai for his contribution to Goan art and culture.
