Nishad Kumar secured his maiden gold medal at the World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, clinching the top spot in the T47 high jump event. After years of finishing second, Nishad overcame Paralympic legend Roderick Townsend and narrowly missed setting a world record at 2.18m.
