The 10th, 11th, and 12th editions of the Goa State Film Festival 2025 began with grandeur on August 14 at Inox, Panaji. Inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, the event saw performances, prestigious film screenings, and the announcement of 48-Hour Short Film Competition winners. The festival continues till August 17 with a showcase of 19 feature films, 4 non-feature films, food courts, and handicraft stalls.
In a vibrant celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day, Secretary (Sports) Shri. Santosh Sukhadeve, IAS, flagged off the #TirangaRally in Panaji, joined by Dr. Ajay Gaude, Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, and Shri. Sumith Maheshwari, High Performance Director of Khelo India. Bal Bhavan Panaji will host its Annual All Goa Greeting Card Design Contest on Wednesday, July 30, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. across 12 talukas in Goa. Open to students from Standards V to X, the competition celebrates creativity with themes like Goan landscapes, floral patterns, Diwali and Christmas motifs.
