The prestigious ceremony took place in Delhi, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi honoring him in the presence of his proud parents.
Young javelin thrower Lohakare stunned at the 74th Inter Services Athletics Championship 2025 with a throw of 84.31m, surpassing his idol Neeraj Chopra’s 2018 Services record of 83.80m. The mark, however, is not eligible for World Athletics recognition as the event is non-certified.
