Ethan Vaz, a 13-year-old chess prodigy from Goa, has made India proud by winning 5 medals at the Western Asia Youth Chess Championships 2025 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. He secured silver medals in Standard and Rapid formats, a bronze medal in Blitz, and led Team India to bronze medals in Standard and Rapid formats.
