Lloyd Fernandes, currently India’s No. 1 para table tennis player in Class 2, has been selected to represent India at the ITTF Asian Para Championships 2025 in Beijing from October 13-19. Coached by Selwyn Godinho, Lloyd’s impressive achievements include multiple national gold medals and international representations. Lloyd Fernandes has made history by clinching two consecutive gold medals at the Para Table Tennis National Ranking Championship. For many, an accident might seem like the end of life. But for Lloyd, it marked the start of a new journey. After becoming paralyzed in 2016, he turned to table tennis and never looked back. Now, the gold medalist is set to represent India at the ITTF Asian Para Championship this year.
