Aditya Kumar, hailing from Uttarakhand and currently serving as a Deputy Commandant in CISF, has become the first contestant this season to win ₹1 crore on the iconic quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

In a recent promo released by the show’s makers, viewers saw Amitabh Bachchan warmly embracing Aditya on the hot seat as he announced the ₹1 crore win in his trademark style. Aditya was visibly emotional, sharing that it still felt “unbelievable” to him. His proud parents were also present in the audience, rushing to hug him and celebrate his milestone achievement.

During the episode, Aditya shared his powerful backstory. Coming from a modest background, he emphasized the role of education in his life. “It has been a tough journey,” he said. “I remember the way I stayed in a small room, let go of my friends, and locked myself up for a year to devote to preparation.
