In a monumental moment for Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol unveiled a life-sized bronze statue of their iconic characters, Raj and Simran, at London’s legendary Leicester Square. The statue marks the 30th anniversary of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), one of the most beloved and longest-running films in Indian cinematic history.
This installation is part of the prestigious Scenes in the Square trail — a tribute to characters and scenes that have shaped global pop culture. DDLJ is now the first Indian film ever to receive this rare honour, standing alongside legendary Hollywood icons who have been celebrated in the same space.
At the unveiling ceremony, the atmosphere was electric as fans gathered to witness history in the making. Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude, saying that such recognition in the heart of London is a testament to how deeply DDLJ resonates even after three decades. Kajol, too, shared her excitement, celebrating the nostalgia and timeless charm of the film.
SRK shared an emotional note: “Bade bade deshon mein, aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain, Senorita! Thrilled to unveil the statue of Raj & Simran celebrating 30 years of DDLJ. DDLJ is the first Indian film to be honoured on the Scenes in the Square trail. Thank you to everyone in the UK for making this possible. Come meet Raj & Simran when you’re in London — we’d love to see you make more memories with DDLJ.”
The statue will now be a permanent cultural landmark, inviting fans from across the world to relive the magic of Raj and Simran every time they visit London.
Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan reunited on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show Two Much with Kajol & Twinkle, delivering a mix of laughter, nostalgia, and heartfelt confessions.
Salman began with a playful throwback, joking that he and Aamir barely remember their school days together. Aamir shared how their real bond formed when Salman visited him for dinner during his divorce with Reena. He reflected: “Actually, I think it happened when I went through my divorce with Reena. You had come over for dinner, and that’s when Salman and I first actually connected properly. Because before that I used to feel ki bhai time pe nahi aata, humko bohot problem hoti thi, Andaz Apna Apna mein.”
The conversation turned introspective as Aamir admitted, “Salman main bohot judgmental tha yaar, shuru shuru mein na. I was very hard as a person.” Salman also reflected on relationships: “When a partner grows more than the other partner, that is when the differences start coming in; that’s when the insecurity starts setting in, so they both need to grow together. Both need to get off each other’s backs. I believe that.”
On being questioned about accountability in relationships, Salman said, “Yaar nahi jama toh nahi jama. If there is anyone to blame, I am the one to blame.” He also shared a personal aspiration: “Children, I will have, one day, soon. It’s just that eventually one will have kids, but let’s see.”
This episode promises to be a mix of humor, nostalgia, and candid confessions, offering fans a rare glimpse into the personal lives of two of Bollywood’s most beloved stars.
The first episode of Two Much with Kajol & Twinkle premieres September 25 on Prime Video.
A major controversy has erupted in the Indian music scene as international music producer KMKZ has come forward with serious allegations against India’s largest music label, T-Series. According to KMKZ, his original beat was used without permission, credit, or payment in the hit song Raanjhan, featured in the OTT film Do Patti starring Kriti Sanon and Kajol.
In a video posted to his Instagram, KMKZ detailed how he discovered the alleged plagiarism. He explained that he had uploaded the beat online nearly two years ago, and it was recently brought to his attention by a follower who recognized the beat in Raanjhan. After listening to the track himself, KMKZ said he was shocked to hear the similarity. The song, which has been composed by the well-known Bollywood duo Sachet-Parampara and sung by Parampara Tandon, has amassed over 290 million streams on Spotify and more than 33 crore views on YouTube, making it one of the most popular Indian tracks in recent months.
What makes the claim more significant is KMKZ’s assertion that he had absolutely no knowledge of the beat being used until it was flagged by a listener. “I produced the number one song in India and didn’t even know about it,” he said. “They pretty much just ripped the beat off of YouTube and didn’t contact me or pay me or credit me or anything.” He also shared that he made several attempts to contact T-Series and other involved parties via email, but received no response.
The song Raanjhan is part of Do Patti, a suspenseful thriller released on OTT platforms in November 2024. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the film features Kajol and Kriti Sanon as twin sisters hiding dark secrets, alongside Shaheer Sheikh and Tanvi Azmi. The emotional and haunting soundtrack played a key role in the film’s appeal, making the allegations even more serious.
Adding to the controversy, this isn’t the first time T-Series and Sachet-Parampara have faced such accusations. In 2024, musician Nilanjana Ghosh Dastidar accused the same team of plagiarizing her husband Rajarshi Mitter’s composition for the song Maiyya, also featured in Do Patti.
KMKZ is now seeking public acknowledgment and justice. In his Instagram post, he made a direct request to his followers: “If anyone knows anyone who can help me out with this in some way then please get this video to them and have them DM me asap! And please leave a comment on this video and share it so it can reach the right people.” He concluded with a clear message: “There’s so many stories of producers getting ripped off nowadays but man 300 million streams and number 1 on Billboard is crazy. I DEMAND A PLAQUE.”
The video has since gone viral, with growing support from independent musicians and creators online, sparking a larger conversation about intellectual property, music ownership, and fair recognition in the industry. As the story gains momentum, all eyes are now on T-Series and how they respond.
I’m back this week with another #BeingAllycaralFridayFeature 👒 This week, I thought of sharing with you a memory of Switzerland. A Place which instantly brings a smile on our faces. It is true, many of us might have not been to Switzerland or some of us have gone there. But I am sure, each of us atleast once in our lifetime visited Switzerland through movies. Switzerland is a home to many hollywood movies to name a few would be Angels and the demons (2009), Star Wars episode III : Revenge of the Sith (2005), Golden Eye (1995) and also Bollywood movies like Dhoom 3 (2013), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) The most famous movie of our times, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995).
So more or less looking at these and many of the innumerable movies which we have seen shot in Switzerland, we definately have an idea of how Switzerland actually looks. Keeping the same vision in mind, when I first traveled to Switzerland, I had the notion I would land on a road covered with ice but well, that wasn’t the story. I landed on a normal grey road!!!
My holiday was in planned in August so to actually get the snowfall during the time I was there was difficult. The season of winter was almost over, but none the less thankfully some places are always covered with snow throughout the year. So that didn’t disappoint me.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge Fountain Spot
The place is world famous for two major things one is swiss chocolates & second swiss watches. While, I was going through sightseeing sights in Switzerland, I came across this place called Interlaken, a beautiful place situated right below a hill. As I was exploring this place, I came across a familiar fountain. And well, this wasn’t an ordinary fountain, this was the famous fountain which was seen in the iconic, Yash Chopra’s Movie of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ). This spot is fondly referred to as the DDLJ spot. It was here that the characters of Raj (Played by Mr. Shahrukh Khan) was seen proposing his lady love Simran (Played by Mrs. Kajol) with a rose which she accepted and all what happened was the water from the rose spilled on her face.

Yes, indeed it was a very proud moment to see a statue of an Indian on a foreign land, so much loved and respected for. After Interacting with officials in the place, I got to learn that the statue was installed by the Swiss Tourism board in the year 2006, to acknowledge the Veteran Director, Late Yash Chopra’s contribution towards single-handily boosting popularity of Switzerland among the Indian Tourist – Indeed, Boosting Swiss Tourism as a whole.
It is simple, You get a car drop up to a single point then you have to explore the place on foot. The place is called the Kurssaal Garden in the central Swiss town of Interlaken.

The same was unveiled by his wife, Pamela Chopra and daughter in law – actress Rani Mukerji.
This is one of it’s kind statue in Switzerland in the open space dedicated to a film director who boosted Swiss Tourism.
