Sikkimese filmmaker Tribeny Rai’s debut feature Shape of Momos premiered at the 56th International Film Festival of India, offering a heartfelt portrayal of everyday life in Sikkim while highlighting the challenges of a nascent regional film industry.
Although no Goan film was selected in the official Indian Panorama category for IFFI 2025, acclaimed filmmaker Rajendra Talak’s Konkani feature Claudia will be screened under the “Indian Panorama – Special Presentation” section of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa. The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) confirmed the selection, with its Managing Director, Prakash Magdum, facilitating the special invitation.
