Grammy-nominated rapper and music producer Wiz Khalifa is making a grand return to India, set to headline the opening day of Rolling Loud India — the first-ever edition of the global hip-hop festival on Indian soil. The event will take place in Mumbai on November 22 and 23, with Wiz Khalifa leading the charge on Day 1.
This marks Khalifa’s third performance in the country, following previous shows in 2017 and 2019. Reflecting on his debut visit, he had expressed enthusiasm about Indian culture, music, and especially Bollywood. “I’ve heard a lot about Bollywood… it looks dope!” he had said before his first Indian concert.
This time around, Wiz will bring his signature hits like Black and Yellow, See You Again, and Young, Wild & Free to thousands of fans. He’ll be sharing the stage with UK rap sensation Central Cee, who’s currently topping charts with his Drake collab Which One, along with a power-packed lineup including DaBaby, Swae Lee, Denzel Curry, Gurinder Gill, Hanumankind, and Meba Ofilia.
Day 2 of the festival will spotlight Indian and international acts alike, with Punjabi star Karan Aujla set for a milestone performance, and Don Toliver expected to deliver hits like No Idea and Lemonade. Indian hip-hop heavyweight DIVINE will also debut tracks from his latest album Walking on Water live on stage. Additional acts for the day include NAV, Sheck Wes, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Westside Gunn.
Rolling Loud India marks a significant moment for hip-hop culture in the country, blending global talent with homegrown artists on one massive stage. With two full days of music, energy, and cultural exchange, Mumbai is set to become the epicenter of the South Asian hip-hop scene this November.
