The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has marked a key milestone in its Phase IV expansion with a successful tunnel breakthrough at Tughlakabad Railway Colony station. A 91-metre-long Tunnel Boring Machine completed a 0.792 km underground tunnel on the Aerocity–Tughlakabad Golden Line, using advanced Earth Pressure Balancing Method (EPBM) technology under densely populated areas—demonstrating precision engineering and minimal surface disruption.
