In a major step towards digital empowerment and inclusive education, 232 meritorious students from SC and ST communities in Goa were awarded laptops under the Free Laptop Distribution Scheme by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa, for academic years 2023–24 and 2024–25.
PM SHRI Government High School Morpirla, a 100% tribal student school, was felicitated by Infosys SpringBoard in Mysore for outstanding utilization of tablets. Teachers Sumant Bandekar and Cassy Carneiro, along with students Pratik Velip, Rohit Gaonkar, and Sahil Gaonkar, received recognition for their consistent and innovative use of digital learning tools, showcasing the school’s commitment to inclusive, tech-driven education.
