Navelim Leads the Way in Sustainability with Successful E-Waste Collection Drive

The Lions Club of Navelim, under the leadership of MJF Lion Joseph D’Costa, District Coordinator for E-waste Collection Awareness, organised a highly successful e-waste collection drive at Rosary Church, Navelim. The initiative saw overwhelming participation from parishioners, collecting large quantities of discarded electronics responsibly for recycling through a government-approved waste agency.

Sarvodaya Educational Society’s High School, Curchorem, partnered with the Forest & Marine Department, South Goa, on July 30, 2025, for a sapling distribution and plantation drive. With 815 saplings distributed, interactive eco-awareness sessions, and active student participation under the campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," the initiative reinforced the school’s commitment to sustainability.
